Study #1 - CBD for use as an anti-inflammatory

In this review, researchers look at the main biological effects of CBD, and its synthetic derivatives, focusing on the cellular, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD.

The results?

"In this context, the phytocannabinoid cannabidiol, which was identified several decades ago and may interact with the cannabinoid system, is a promising molecule for pharmacotherapy."

Study #2 - CBD for use in pain treatment

Another study that was published in Therapeutics and Clinical Risk Management states that, "Cannabinoid analgesics have generally been well tolerated in clinical trials with acceptable adverse event profiles. Their adjunctive addition to the pharmacological armamentarium for treatment of pain shows great promise."

Study #3 - Cannabidiol (CBD) and sleep
