What Are The Benefits Of CBD Hemp Oil?

CBD, also known as cannabinoid, is extracted from hemp and has been shown to relieve symptoms caused by certain conditions, such as chronic pain. It is not impairing and doesn’t cause a high or bring the same effects as THC - a chemical found in marijuana. Also, CBD does not cause dependency; therefore, it is safe.

CBD has been known to offer the highest relief from pain and inflammation in self-managing women. The results of the use of CBD products and pain relief are encouraging. Hemp seed oil, derived from pressing hemp seeds together, contains gamma-linolenic acid, omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, and other nutritional antioxidants, including D and B vitamins. Hemp seed oil does not have the high-causing chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

"CBD has shown therapeutic efficacy in a range of animal models of anxiety and stress, reducing both behavioral and psychological and physiological (e.g., heart rate) measures of stress and anxiety," states the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

The use of CBD has become more common than ever for various reasons. The first is that it doesn't cause dependency, and the other is because it's a natural non-impairing ingredient. There are many known benefits of CBD hemp oil, and below we shall touch on some.

Treat Seizures

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States approved the use of cannabidiol [CBD] oral solution for treating seizures in patients two years of age and older who suffer from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome, two rare and severe forms of epilepsy. This is the first drug with a marijuana-derived substance approved by the FDA. Epidiolex is a prescription medication and the first drug approved by the FDA to treat Dravet syndrome.

Promote Better Sleep

CBD, combined with simple tips and habits, has been shown to help get better sleep and achieve optimal physical and mental performance. The startling reality is that around 70 million Americans struggle with challenging sleep disorders, according to the American Sleep Association. Sleep deprivation can manifest in a variety of ways. For some, it can be caused by simply staying awake because of work or activities rather than sleeping. Others may sleep but aren't getting enough good sleep, so they still feel tired when they wake up. Sleep deprivation can affect anyone and is a prevalent but treatable condition. It leads to low energy and lack of concentration and can contribute to many health issues.

A good night's sleep improves one's quality of life, but millions of people find this challenging. Natural remedies, such as CBD, can help with falling and staying asleep. Adults should typically receive 7-9 hours of sleep every night, adolescents need 8-10 hours, and young children need 9-12 hours.

Reduce Stress and Anxiety

While stress has become an acceptable part of life, long-term stress can lead to serious health problems. Your body produces physical and mental responses when you encounter changes or challenges – resulting in stress. We are designed to handle stress in small doses, and it can help us stay motivated and prepared to avert danger. It is dangerous when we let it persists without periods of rest. CBD has been shown to relieve symptoms of stress. It is not impairing, causes a high, or brings the same effects as THC - a chemical found in marijuana.

Pain Management

Pain and inflammation may briefly ease with simple home treatments like a hot water bottle or salt-water bath. The benefits of comfort and stress reduction are helpful in addition to other forms of pain management that are safe and healthy. Treatment options vary between hormone therapies and pain medication. Women with endometriosis treated with opioids at baseline were 61% more likely to continue receiving opioids long after diagnosis. The good news is there's a more natural – and ever more popular – alternatives to manage pain, such as CBD.

Full-Spectrum CBD or Broad-Spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD includes many cannabinoids and compounds of the cannabis plant present in hemp plants, including up to 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This cannabinoid, in high doses, can make one euphoric. THC binds with brain receptors that control pain. Broad-spectrum CBD, on the other hand, contains all the same cannabinoids or compounds as full-spectrum CBD without THC. The choice of which one to use varies across individuals. If you haven't tried either and a new to CBD products, broad-spectrum CBD is a good option.

Finding the right product depends on your target condition and preferred consumption methods. For example, to target painful joints, you may want to check out CBD topicals. When using CBD for sleep disorders, it's best to choose CBD paired with melatonin in the form of softgels. For fast and robust effects, we suggest using CBD sublingual tinctures. For a refreshing and fun experience, CBD gummies are always the way to go.
